About The Position

The Holiday Inn Express Inn & Suites Jantzen Beach is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Breakfast Host. The role prepares daily food items and helps provide guests with a friendly, inviting experience and fresh, consistent food quality. The Breakfast Host sets up and maintains the breakfast bar, monitors supplies, performs light cooking, keeps the breakfast area clean and stocked, and provides excellent guest service. This is a part-time position requiring weekday availability.

Requirements

• Current Oregon Food Handlers Card.
• Knowledge of health department standards for food sanitation and safety practices.

Nice To Haves

• One year of restaurant hostess experience is preferred.
• Prior hospitality experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain an attractive, abundant, organized, clean, and standardized breakfast bar.
• Take inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day.
• Perform light cooking.
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast space and restock as needed.
• Provide excellent guest service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
