About The Position

The Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is seeking a Culinary Supervisor to support its morning team. This hands-on role requires previous high-volume breakfast supervision or lead experience and includes supporting the kitchen line during busy breakfast hours. The schedule requires availability from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The supervisor helps deliver memorable guest experiences by overseeing food preparation and service while supporting team members and maintaining kitchen standards.

Requirements

• Previous high-volume experience in a breakfast supervisor or lead capacity.
• Availability from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in preparing food according to designated recipes and quality standards.
• Oversee guest orders to ensure friendly, timely, and accurate service.
• Visually inspect prepared dishes before serving to ensure quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and food products to support service and kitchen operations.
• Stock food stations, monitor par levels, and prepare requisitions for ingredients and supplies.
• Train, schedule, and supervise team members, providing guidance and support.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
