About The Position

The Breakfast Attendant sets up, replenishes, and maintains the breakfast buffet in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. The role keeps the dining area and preparation stations clean and provides customer service to enhance the guest experience. This position is full-time, non-exempt, and based in Denver, Colorado. It reports to the Food & Beverage Manager and pays $19.29–$19.50 per hour. The position is primarily indoors and involves frequent standing and walking during shifts, exposure to kitchen and food service equipment and cleaning chemicals, and lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds. Early mornings, weekends, and holidays may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

Requirements

Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, ensuring items are stocked and available throughout service.
Greet guests and assist them with food and beverage selections.
Keep the dining area, buffet, and kitchen preparation stations clean and organized.
Replenish hot and cold food, beverages, condiments, and utensils as needed.
Follow food-handling and sanitation procedures and applicable health regulations.
Monitor inventory and notify the supervisor of shortages or items requiring reorder.
Clear and clean tables, remove used dishes, and keep the dining area presentable.
Respond to guest inquiries and provide a positive dining experience.
Assist with setup and breakdown of breakfast service, including cleaning and storing equipment.
