The Brand Manager (BM) is responsible for leading the development and execution of category brand strategy across all existing channels to build strong brands and categories. The BM works collaboratively with cross-functional partners to ensure flawless execution at all Representative and Consumer touch points for all base and new products. The BM establishes meaningful relationships and partnerships with multiple teams (HQ GBU, Sales, Learning & Development, etc.). The BM builds, leads, and energizes their respective category teams. We’re looking for someone who’s obsessed with growing awareness of brands through experimenting with new tactics and strategies, grounded in data, and creative in approach to grow a fan base for our brands. Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of progressive and successful experience in marketing and/ or product development
  • Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing and brand strategies that drive sales growth and consumer engagement.
  • Strong understanding of the beauty retail landscape, including Sephora, Ulta Beauty, Amazon, and specialty retail channels.
  • Experience managing product launches from concept through commercialization and retail execution.
  • Experience collaborating with retail partners to develop promotional calendars, merchandising programs, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Knowledge of retailer marketing programs, assortment planning, and inventory management.
  • Ability to analyze retail performance metrics, sales trends, and market data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, product development, operations, and creative.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Develops a rolling product innovation calendar in many possible ways of product development timelines
  • Lead decision making on the evolution of the respective brand portfolio by leveraging data, consumer insights and product expertise.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the brand management from initial concept to go-to-market including and not limited to: concept brief, copy, product positioning, competitive advantage, copy, artwork, etc.
  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across the channels.
  • Evaluate analytics including but not limited to: sales, profitability, stocks, SKUs, etc., to extract key insights for future product development and go-to-market strategies and growing the category or brand in the market, by completing with formal proposals and recommendations on strategies and tactics.
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration with cross-functional team to launch on time.
  • Responsible for the decision-making regarding content, production, and planning of all channels.
  • Close partnership with relevant cross-functional teams, to build but not limited to brand awareness, sales, profitability, stock levels, etc. by leading and gaining alignment.
  • Lead the category team by being transparent, evaluating performance, and providing coaching & feedback to growth of team members.
