Requirements

  • An associate's degree or 2 years of store management experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with at least three years of experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
  • Knowledgeable on talent acquisition, talent development, and HR processes.
  • Schedule flexibility; work hours will be determined based on business needs.
  • Knowledgeable about MS Word, Google Docs, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • A valid ABO/NCLE Certification as required by state law is preferred.
  • Willingness to earn certification within the first year of employment.
  • Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead store talent acquisition and talent development, including recruiting, partnering with the Recruiting Department, training new team members, and developing ongoing plans for store associates.
  • Build strong partnerships with Clinical services.
  • Analyze daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to ensure all staff members are achieving desired goals.
  • Communicate effectively and build strong partnerships with the Support Center and Human Resources.
  • Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and edge stock lenses to expedite the delivery of eyeglasses, ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Ensure brand standards are met in the lab area and notify management of equipment malfunctions, incomplete orders, or incorrect lenses.
  • Keep track of delivery time commitments to patients (Now Service, Ready When Promised) to ensure 100% compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and required.
