About The Position

Marquee Brands is seeking a knowledgeable, strategic, product-loving Brand Manager to join its New York team. The Brand Manager will support the Brand Director in the management and growth of the iconic Maison BCBG brands: BCBGMAXAZRIA, BCBG, BCBG Generation and BCBG Girls. Marquee Brands owns and manages a portfolio of established global brands across consumer products and channels from luxury goods to sports and active apparel. Requirements

  • Must be in advanced in Microsoft excel and the entire Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite and Canva
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in retail merchandising and/or licensing

Responsibilities

  • Request & analyze sales, and forecasts reporting by channel and account and circulate business updates internally, for all retailers and marketplaces
  • In partnership with Director, share successes and opportunities across partner portfolio, with Brand Director identify opportunities to further drive business and drive results.
  • Assist with execution of global go to market strategies.
  • Maintain & update store distribution lists, active categories and retailer footprint
  • Track partner performance on Amazon: ad spend, overarching PDP execution. With Brand Director and Marketplace team, identify business opportunities and drive results.
  • Procure and enter monthly, quarterly actuals and projections in relevant corporate files
  • Support Director in chasing licensee payments as needed
  • Lead the overall business management of a subset of brand licensees with guidance from Director. Own agendas, monthly/quarterly tbases. Drive results to see strategies through.
  • Execute market research online and in store to identify opportunities and positioning within the market. Prepare presentations accordingly.
  • Along with Brand Director, research prospective retail opportunities and prepare pitch decks. Conduct market research and pitch decks to support Business development
  • Collaborate and liaise with internal teams such as marketing and PR teams on needs to support brand strategy and growth (ie. line sheets, order management, samples, pricing, launch dates, sample ordering)
  • Maintain merch inputs for the marketing team’s launch calendars
  • Contribute to weekly/monthly meetings held with marketing, creative, legal and business development.
  • Build and maintain the time and action calendar; alerting appropriate stakeholders when timelines slip
  • Collaborate with licensees to manage: Product approvals- own meetings, approval process and filing; Go-To-Market assets such as line lists and line sheets; Showroom and sample management and organization.
  • Provide trademark proof of usage
  • Assist with various tasks by liaising with the legal team, and own legal team updates
  • Own and maintain detailed trackers surrounding partner contracts and terms
  • Support Royalty Zone Process, from validating partner inputs to generating ad hoc reporting, while tracking all system updates needed (example: informing new retailers for a partner) and keeping records of new approvals
  • Schedule and own the agendas for internal bi-monthly and weekly touch bases internally- Marketing, Creative, Legal, Business Development
  • Schedule and own the agendas for monthly/quarterly business reviews with licensees
  • Schedule and own the agendas for partner Design meetings
