About The Position

Viktor is an AI coworker that integrates with Slack and Microsoft Teams, connecting to numerous tools to perform tasks for companies in finance, marketing, operations, and engineering. The company is developing a product intended to replace a significant portion of the SaaS stack with a single AI teammate. The team is small, but the scope of the role is extensive. This position is focused on owning and scaling the newsletter partnership channel, which is already a significant growth engine for Viktor, reaching hundreds of thousands of relevant individuals weekly. The role involves end-to-end management of newsletter partnerships, including sourcing, negotiation, scheduling, tracking, and optimizing spend. Additionally, the Brand Manager will serve as the editor, responsible for crafting compelling copy, defining angles, and ensuring the brand's voice is effectively communicated through engaging content that drives clicks.

Requirements

  • Experience running paid media partnerships or brand marketing, ideally with newsletters, sponsorships, or media buys at a B2B SaaS, AI, or dev-tools company.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create copy that drives engagement and clicks.
  • Experience in sourcing partners, negotiating rates, and managing relationships.
  • Proficiency in tracking performance data and using it to inform budget decisions.
  • Technical curiosity and the ability to understand and credibly write about AI products.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, autonomous environment with a small team and full ownership.
  • Ability to use AI tools like Claude or Viktor in daily work.

  • Experience owning a newsletter sponsorship or media program with established relationships and proven results.
  • Portfolio of ad or email copy that demonstrates conversion success.
  • Experience owning a brand voice or style guide across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own every newsletter partnership: source new ones, negotiate deals, manage relationships, lock the schedule, and organize the roster.
  • Serve as the editor: write copy for every placement, set the angle, and own the brand voice.
  • Brief and direct creative: own the brief, references, and final decisions for creative assets, working with designers and freelancers.
  • Run the numbers: track performance metrics (clicks, signups, paid conversions, CPA) for partners and placements, optimize budget allocation based on data, and report findings.
  • Protect the brand: ensure consistency in Viktor's voice, claims, and proof points across all communications.
