About The Position

We have a current opening for a Brand Manager, Nutella & Go and are actively reviewing applications. As the Brand Manager, Nutella & Go, you will own the portfolio end to end and play a key role in shaping the brand’s growth and leadership within the U.S. category. Reporting to the Nutella Marketing Director, you’ll help define and execute the strategy that drives the brand forward. You'll bring a strong foundation in analytics and project management, paired with attention to detail and a creative mindset. You’re comfortable leading cross-functional teams and agency partners, and you know how to turn insights into impactful, integrated marketing campaigns. From TV to in-store execution, you’ll help bring compelling, world-class creative to life and connect with consumers across every touchpoint. You understand how the retail landscape works and can apply that knowledge across different classes of trade to build well-rounded strategies. You also play a key role in shaping and preparing for the commercialization of future Nutella & Go innovations as they move toward launch. In this role, you will: Own and drive brand performance, monitoring results and making data-driven decisions to ensure delivery against budget and business goals. Lead and execute marketing initiatives that fuel growth and strengthen the brand’s position in market. Collaborate across teams and external partners to deliver best-in-class programs. Manage all aspects of the business independently, without direct reports, while maintaining strong cross-functional alignment. This role is hybrid, and will be based in our North American HQ in Parsippany, NJ.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods brand marketing
  • Experience working with and preparing reports utilizing syndicated databases; i.e. IRI, ACNielsen
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within scheduled timelines
  • Possesses solid project management skills (planning, execution and assessment)
  • Well-versed in business forecasting and budget management
  • Knowledge of key trade channels (Convenience, Food, Drug, Mass, Club, e-Com)
  • Excellent analytical skills upon which to base decision-making
  • Business acumen, with a knack for turning data into insights and recommendations
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Structured and organized in managing projects and timelines
  • Team player able to effectively work with multi-functional teams
  • Motivation to advance in a merit-based, multinational organization
  • Adaptable to foreign cultures

  • MBA is a plus
  • P&L management and global marketing experience are a plus
  • Experience in digital marketing, content development and managing agencies is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive brand performance, monitoring results and making data-driven decisions to ensure delivery against budget and business goals
  • Lead and execute marketing initiatives that fuel growth and strengthen the brand’s position in market

  • In-depth market, competitive and brand analysis to assist in formulating brand strategy within a fast-moving consumer packaged goods category
  • Analyzes business and brand results to ensure strategies are working and objectives are being realized, recommending course correction where relevant
  • Maintains understanding of the competitive environment to assess impact on business
  • Leads S&OP process for Nutella (inclusive of consumption and shipments forecasting)
  • Prepares and creates engaging, meaningful, and persuasive presentations
  • Actively manages brand marketing budget (reporting and revisions)
  • Drives Nutella digital strategy (inclusive of proactive engagement opportunities, social listening, community management etc.)
  • Leads agency partners in creative development, asset development and execution of consumer and shopper activation
  • Ensures coherency across all consumer and shopper touchpoints to drive cohesive and impactful messaging and trademark consistency in all communications
  • Participates in brand planning and overall communication planning with interagency team
  • Sets and tracks KPIs, offering recommendations for optimization of plans/assets
  • Work closely with Category management and Trade Marketing to commercialize innovation (when ready), developing compelling sell-in stories/toolkits to ensure customer acceptance of innovation
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Inter-departmental engagement with Trade marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Legal to assist in the planning and execution of new initiatives
  • Able to efficiently manage relations with third party vendors (i.e.: creative/social media/media/graphic design agencies etc.), obtaining required output while minimizing costs
  • Comfortable with presenting in front of senior management
