About The Position

Essity is a global leader in health and hygiene. We are looking for a passionate Brand Innovation Manager for our FemCare category with a focus on North America, who will be based in Philadelphia, US. In this role, you will lead end-to-end innovation for the Feminine Care category in North America, shaping and delivering the innovation pipeline from concept creation to successful market launch. You will play a key role in shaping the innovation pipeline and contributing to the overall category strategy. Operating within a global and cross-functional environment, you will collaborate closely with teams across Consumer Insights, R&D, Marketing, and Commercial, as well as external partners, to translate opportunities into impactful solutions. Reporting to: Senior Innovation Manager.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in consumer marketing, brand management, or innovation within a multinational FMCG environment
  • Experience working across global and regional/local roles
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Proven track record of translating consumer insights into scalable innovation concepts that drive profitable growth.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Entrepreneurial and comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to experiment and learn
  • Resilient, solution-oriented, and results-driven
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel

Responsibilities

  • Own the Innovation Pipeline. Lead and manage the end-to-end innovation process, from idea generation to launch, ensuring speed, quality, and commercial impact.
  • Drive Insight-Led Strategy. Translate consumer, shopper, and market insights into clear innovation strategies and growth opportunities.
  • Shape the Portfolio. Define product portfolio direction, including positioning, pricing, packaging, and claims, aligned with brand and category priorities.
  • Lead Cross-functional Delivery. Coordinate and influence global and regional stakeholders across Marketing, R&D, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
  • Identify Growth Opportunities. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and evolving consumer needs to uncover whitespace opportunities.
  • Track and Optimize Performance. Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., shares, sales, margin, penetration) and continuously improve innovation outcomes.
