About The Position

At Mechasys, we believe the construction industry deserves tools as precise and innovative as the structures it builds. That's why we developed the XR Projector, a cutting-edge 3D positioning tool that brings blueprints to life directly on the job site. Using BIM/CAD models, our XR Projector projects 1:1 scale plans with millimeter accuracy, eliminating guesswork, reducing rework by up to 50%, and enabling teams to build faster and smarter. Proudly based in Montreal, our team is driven by a passion for precision, quality, and transforming how the world builds. As we grow, we're looking for talented individuals to join our mission and help shape the future of tech-driven construction. This is not a "desk-only" job. You are a visual storyteller and a digital architect. You will spend half your time producing high-quality video content and the rest split between graphic design, website aesthetics, and community engagement.

  • A diverse portfolio proving "out of the box" thinking and high aesthetic standards that can make heavy machinery look like high-tech art.
  • Expert-level command of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to create everything from raw site updates to polished, cinematic product launches.
  • High-level proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop/Illustrator), with a sharp eye for typography, web layouts, and intuitive user experiences.
  • Exceptional narrative skills across all formats—from scriptwriting and storyboarding for video to crafting technical blogs, press releases, and executive ghostwriting.
  • A university degree in Marketing, Communications, or Design, or equivalent "battle-tested" experience in a fast-paced tech or construction-tech environment.
  • Ideally based at our Montreal office for frequent collaboration, with the readiness to pivot to rugged construction sites and travel occasionally to capture our technology in action.

Nice To Haves

  • Any additional language skills would also be highly beneficial but not essential.
  • It is a significant plus if you already own and prefer using your own professional-grade equipment (e.g., from freelance ventures).

Responsibilities

  • Lead video shoots, including setup, lighting, and audio capture.
  • Edit raw footage into high-impact content for social media, YouTube, and product demos.
  • Scripting, storyboarding, and conceptualizing shoots to ensure a cohesive brand narrative.
  • Tailor formats to the specific characteristics of each platform (TikTok, LinkedIn, Ads) and incorporate editing trends (hooks, pacing) to maximize engagement.
  • Utilize the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to design professional marketing materials, from digital ads to physical brochures.
  • Maintain and evolve the Mechasys visual identity across all touchpoints, ensuring a consistent and modern look for all internal and external presentations.
  • Ensure the integrity and distribution of all brand elements (logos, guidelines, packaging); act as the final checkpoint for the approval of all visual assets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the sales team to provide the necessary marketing tools and ensure seamless communication between departments.
  • Responsible for the overall look, feel of the company website, in accordance with the Lead Designer.
  • Create new pages and layouts that prioritize user experience and modern design trends.
  • Research and write high value editorial content and official press releases that align with the brand voice.
  • Manage all social media channels and the Google Business Profile (updates, reviews, and photography).
  • Manage the CEO’s professional social media profiles, crafting posts that position them as a thought leader in the industry.
  • Actively monitor and respond to community comments, fostering a positive and interactive brand reputation.
