About The Position

The mission of the Street Team Member is simple: create excitement, start conversations, generate QR code scans, and bring people into the gym. This role involves representing UFC GYM professionally at various marketing locations, engaging with the public, and promoting a special membership offer. The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for initiating conversations, delivering a specific script, and directing prospects to scan a QR code for a free membership. They will also need to handle common objections, prepare for shifts by ensuring all equipment is present, and report daily scan totals and feedback to management. Maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to company guidelines for conduct and social media promotion are crucial. Safety awareness and responsible behavior in the field are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

Outgoing, energetic, and comfortable initiating conversations with strangers.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for the duration of assigned shifts, in various weather conditions.
Positive, coachable attitude and strong representation of the UFC GYM brand.
Smartphone required for QR code verification and shift communication.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in field marketing, promotions, brand ambassador work, sales, or customer-facing roles.
Familiarity with or interest in fitness and the UFC GYM brand.

Responsibilities

Represent UFC GYM professionally at Company-approved marketing locations.
Proactively engage with members of the public to generate interest in gym memberships.
Initiate conversations confidently and deliver the Company's conversation script.
Direct prospects to scan a QR code for a FREE One-Month Limited All-Access Membership offer.
Respond to common prospect objections using approved talking points.
Relocate to different areas within a location if engagement slows.
Maintain visible presentation of the QR Code Sign.
Allow prospects to scan the QR code themselves and verify the scan.
Thank prospects after interactions and move promptly to the next conversation.
Confirm all required equipment is on hand before every shift (QR Code Sign, flyers, phone, water, wristbands, scooter, promotional materials).
Complete Before-Shift, During-Shift, and After-Shift checklist items, including clocking in/out, verifying QR code functionality, reviewing assigned location, and returning equipment.
Accurately report daily QR scan totals, best-performing marketing locations, and member feedback to management.
Communicate any incidents, safety concerns, or issues encountered in the field to a manager immediately.
Wear the required Street Team uniform and maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance.
Follow all Golden Rules of the role (e.g., never pressure, never block, never argue, never follow, never enter businesses without permission, never stand in one place, never use profanity, never complain).
Leave private property immediately if asked and report the incident.
Promote UFC GYM positively on social media in accordance with Company guidelines.
Show up on time, be coachable, support teammates, and represent UFC GYM with pride.
Remain aware of surroundings at all times and use crosswalks.
Stay hydrated and use sunscreen as needed.
Never approach aggressive or hostile individuals; disengage and notify a manager if a situation feels unsafe.
