About The Position
The Branch Trainee participates in a comprehensive training program to build foundational knowledge of the industry, customers, and organization. The program includes branch-oriented and professional development training intended to prepare the trainee to contribute to the goals of the position. The role is based onsite at the Export, Pennsylvania retail shop and supports branch safety, customer service, order processing, and coordination with sales personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Management, or a related Supply Chain field.
- Proven ability to guide and support others, with a focus on customer service and/or operations.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Time-management and organizational skills.
- Collaborative problem-solving skills and administrative accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Champion the safety, health, and welfare of sales, operations, and all associates.
- Guide and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with regional, corporate, local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Answer customer inquiries and enter orders.
- Coordinate with territory sales personnel to advance market presence and margins.
- Pull and package customer orders.
- Review and align cash and bank deposits, open order edit lists, quote lists, purchase order reports by item, and selected order edit lists.
- Ensure internal and external customers receive prompt acknowledgment and pleasant service.
