About The Position

Consumers Credit Union (CCU) is hiring a full-time Branch Specialist for its Kildeer branch. This hands-on, early-career financial services role combines Concierge, Teller, and Personal Banker responsibilities. The Branch Specialist welcomes members, processes transactions, opens accounts, and connects members with products and services suited to their financial goals. The position offers an opportunity to develop a career in banking and financial services while contributing to the member experience and branch operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail, customer service, sales, or cash handling.
• Comfort promoting products and services and engaging in consultative, sales-oriented conversations.
• Comfort with technology, including data systems, Microsoft Office, and web-based tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with integrity and commitment to inclusion and diversity.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week within the stated schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Friday 8:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m., and regular Saturdays 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members in the branch and create a positive first impression.
• Assist and educate members on self-service options, including Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs).
• Process transactions accurately and resolve account and service needs.
• Open new consumer accounts efficiently and with attention to detail.
• Identify opportunities to connect members with loans, mortgages, and wealth management services.
• Recommend improvements that enhance the member experience and branch operations.
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, audits, and balancing standards.
