About The Position

Consumers Credit Union is hiring a full-time Branch Specialist for its Kildeer branch. This hands-on, early-career financial services role combines Concierge, Teller, and Personal Banker responsibilities. The Branch Specialist welcomes members, processes transactions, opens accounts, and connects members with products and services aligned with their financial goals. The position offers an opportunity to develop a long-term career in financial services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail, customer service, sales, or cash handling.
• Comfort promoting products and services and engaging in consultative, sales-oriented conversations.
• Strong comfort level with technology, including data systems, Microsoft Office, and web-based tools.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to build relationships.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with a high level of integrity and commitment to inclusion and diversity.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week within the stated schedule, including regular Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members in the branch and create a positive first impression.
• Assist and educate members on self-service options, including Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs).
• Process transactions accurately and resolve account and service needs.
• Open new consumer accounts efficiently and with attention to detail.
• Identify opportunities to connect members with loans, mortgages, and wealth management services.
• Recommend improvements that enhance the member experience and branch operations.
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, audits, and balancing standards.
