About The Position

The Chattahoochee Valley Libraries is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Library Assistant I - Branch Services for the Columbus Public Library and 24-Hour Libraries. This is a 40 hour per week position. This position will serve as the primary service staff for stocking, maintaining, and troubleshooting CVL's 24-Hour Libraries. This person will divide their time between 24-Hour Libraries and working in the Circulation Department of the Columbus Public Library. The position will collaborate with CVL departments & Envisionware to troubleshoot and maintain 24-Hour Libraries collections and operations.

• Good judgment and safe driving skills, including awareness of basic vehicle maintenance, and safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, and the public.
• Availability to report to any branch in the system and work nights and weekends in rotation.
