About The Position

Republic Finance is seeking college juniors or seniors majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field for its Branch Operations Internship. Interns learn the daily functions and operations of a branch and gain exposure to the broader organization and its career opportunities. Working alongside branch team members and leaders, interns gain hands-on experience with the Republic Way sales and customer service approach, compliance training, loan closing, leadership training, and one or more continuous-improvement projects involving other departments. The program also introduces interns to company initiatives and potential career paths, with the goal of expanding on concepts learned in college and introducing a possible long-term career with Republic Finance. Interns become licensed and participate in an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program, covering the loan process and regulatory training. They assist with loan origination, processing, closing, and funding activities; spend time with their Manager and Regional Vice President to learn about their responsibilities and promotional opportunities; and may attend regional meetings or workshops. They also learn about branch operations improvement projects and corporate roles where branch experience is valued, such as Audit, Compliance, Training, and Recruiting. An overview of company benefits is provided during the program. The position is 100% onsite and requires a minimum of 18–20 hours per week. Pay is $15.00 per hour.
