About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring experienced, people-focused leaders for a Branch Manager career within its National Branch Network. The Branch Manager serves as the branch’s sales leader, responsible for acquiring, deepening, and retaining customer relationships and driving growth across primary checking, deposits, lending, credit cards, and investments through disciplined execution, coaching, and performance management. The role balances business growth with operational risk management to protect customers, employees, and the company. The manager leads, coaches, and develops a team to improve banker productivity and foster an engaged, accountable culture focused on identifying customer financial needs and recommending suitable Wells Fargo solutions. The manager also works with internal sales partners across Wealth & Investment Management, Business Banking, and Home Lending, and helps customers use available digital banking options. Onboarding begins with the Branch Manager Readiness Program, which offers mentorship, job shadowing, hands-on experience, and practical learning in branch operations. Successful completion is required before transitioning into a Branch Manager position. During training, the position is an interim, nonexempt role. Branch assignment depends on business needs and availability. Current Wells Fargo Branch Managers are not required to complete the program. The role requires a schedule that includes Saturdays. During the first six months, before or until placement in a specific branch, travel within the assigned geography may be up to 50%, depending on location. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date. Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies, including financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background standards. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding the credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply. Visa sponsorship is not available. The listed base pay range is $37.50–$67.31; pay may vary based on factors such as prior performance, skills, experience, and work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. The posting end date is November 17, 2026, though the posting may be removed earlier due to applicant volume.
