About The Position

The Trench Shoring Branch Manager is accountable for the safe, cost-effective, and efficient management of branch operations related to trench shoring and trench safety systems. The role ensures exceptional customer service, a strong safety culture, and consistent operational excellence. It includes full P&L ownership, profitable growth, talent development and retention, maintaining high equipment standards, and executing a branch-level business plan focused on safety, customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and financial performance. The position requires trench safety expertise and the ability to lead in a fast-paced, equipment-intensive environment. The salary range is $95,000 to $125,000, based on education and/or experience.

Requirements

At least 5 years of successful business management experience with direct P&L accountability at a branch or similar profit center.
At least 3 years of trench safety or trench shoring experience.
Strong sales and customer service background.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Outside sales experience preferred.
Knowledge and experience in trench safety, trench shoring operations, or shoring contractor work strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Build and grow the trench shoring business through strong market presence, brand positioning, and superior service delivery.
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, utilities, municipalities, and infrastructure partners to support customer loyalty.
Oversee equipment scheduling and dispatch to ensure timely delivery, safe setup, and smooth project execution.
Oversee daily operations involving hydraulic shoring, slide rail, shielding, and related trench safety systems.
Manage equipment availability, utilization, repair cycles, and readiness for deployment.
Hold full branch P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, expense management, margin optimization, and revenue growth.
Develop and retain talent, maintain high equipment standards, and execute a branch-level business plan focused on safety, customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and financial performance.
