About The Position

As a Branch Manager in a Chase Branch, you will lead and manage all aspects of the branch, including growing deposits and investments, overseeing operations, and coaching the team. You will create a welcoming environment for employees and clients, provide attentive and friendly service, represent Chase’s brand and culture, deliver banking solutions and financial technology, and collaborate with specialists to address clients’ financial needs. You will also build relationships with local businesses and engage with the community.

The position requires successful completion of the Branch Manager Training Program before placement. Travel is required as needed for in-person training and meetings and may include out-of-state travel. The role is subject to Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act Loan Originator qualification requirements and requires NMLS registration under the SAFE Act. Continued employment is contingent on compliance with these requirements, including successful registration after starting and timely completion of renewals and updates.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of management, Retail Banking, or equivalent Chase leadership experience.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Experience creating and maintaining a strong risk and control environment, with commitment to operational integrity and adherence to policies.
• Strong leadership skills and a proven record of coaching and empowering employees.
• Ability to organize and manage competing priorities and develop plans for branch growth and success.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to influence, educate, and connect teams, partners, and clients with technology.
• Ability to travel as required for in-person training and meetings; some travel may be out of state.
• Meet Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act Loan Originator qualification requirements and register with or update the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) under the SAFE Act. Continued employment is contingent on compliance, including successful registration after the start date and timely renewals and updates.
• An employment offer is contingent on JPMC review of criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant information; a felony conviction within the last seven years disqualifies candidates.
