About The Position
The Branch Banking Client Consultant I delivers front-line client service and transactional support in a bank branch. The role welcomes clients, identifies their needs, and performs teller functions and financial transactions accurately, efficiently, and courteously to support clients’ financial goals. It contributes to branch success by maintaining operational accuracy and risk standards while supporting sales performance through client introductions, education, and collaboration with branch teammates. The position aims to create a positive, trusted branch experience by connecting clients with appropriate financial solutions and handling everyday banking needs efficiently. It also supports branch growth and service goals through transaction execution, client engagement, timely problem resolution, and compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, including GED, HiSET, TASC, or foreign equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service, cash handling, or retail.
- Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate proactively, and build effective relationships with stakeholders and clients.
- Ability to identify client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and deliver positive client service.

Responsibilities
- Support team efforts to achieve financial performance and primary client acquisition growth targets.
- Make appropriate client introductions to team members in support of growth targets and sales initiatives.
- Assist clients with account questions, problems, and complaints; research issues and communicate resolutions in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide client engagement and education, and meet behavioral activity goals, including client introductions.
- Deliver timely and accurate daily financial transactions while striving to prevent controllable losses.
- Follow applicable bank policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance standards, and complete required compliance training.
- Perform special projects and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
