About The Position

ABC Supply is hiring a Branch Accounting Support Specialist for a fast-paced, cross-functional support role. The position handles routine customer service inquiries through phone, chat, and email; researches customer payments, short pays, and cash application details; and communicates findings to the appropriate department or customer. It also accepts and processes customer payments, provides guidance on processes, and troubleshoots common questions about programs and systems. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to identify and address customer concerns effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of Help Desk or Customer Service experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Time management skills.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Strong organization and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable multitasking as needed.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to identify and address customer concerns effectively and efficiently.
• Experience accepting large volumes of incoming calls and emails.

Responsibilities

• Handle routine customer service inquiries via phone, chat, and email.
