About The Position

The Accounting Operations Associate supports day-to-day accounting processes, including transaction entry, reconciliation, and reporting. The role maintains accurate financial documentation, follows internal controls, and resolves discrepancies promptly to support the finance function’s operational integrity. The position also contributes to close activities, audit support, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance operations within a corporate environment.
• Experience with accounting systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and spreadsheet tools.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving transaction discrepancies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders.
• English language fluency is required.

Responsibilities

• Process daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts, and identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial data.
• Prepare standard financial reports and maintain organized records in compliance with internal policies.
• Support internal and external audit requests through accurate data compilation and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve routine accounting issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
