BPO Sales Director

Confie•Huntington Beach, CA
•$135,000 - $150,000

About The Position

The BPO Sales Director is a quota-carrying, individual-contributor business development role responsible for winning new clients for Confie BPO’s 2,000+ seat nearshore contact center and back-office services, delivered from two Class A facilities in Mexico. Primary targets are Property & Casualty and Health insurance organizations, including carriers, MGAs/GAs, agencies, health plans, and TPAs. Secondary targets include regulated industries such as financial services, life sciences, and telecom. The Director develops and owns a self-sourced pipeline using personal and company networks, LinkedIn, referrals, direct outreach, conferences, and marketing campaigns. The role manages complex sales from initial contact through contract execution, typically involving deals valued at $500,000 to $2 million or more. After closing, the Director transitions the deal to Operations and Client Services and may remain engaged through launch. The position is primarily an individual-contributor role supported by marketing and sales administration, may be performed remotely, and offers a base salary plus uncapped commission tied to client revenue success. Travel of 25–35% is required.

  • Proven ability to self-source and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals valued at $500,000 or more.
  • Comfort with cold outreach and building a pipeline from scratch without relying on inbound leads or inherited accounts.
  • Established professional network and active LinkedIn presence, ideally among insurance, financial services, or other regulated-industry decision makers.
  • Experience selling to operations leaders and C-suite executives.
  • Strong presentation, proposal-writing, and negotiation skills.
