About The Position

Planet Aid is seeking a Box Truck Driver to collect and transport donated textiles as part of its mission to protect the environment and support sustainable development in communities around the world. The role operates box trucks up to 20 feet on assigned local routes, services donation bins, and delivers materials safely and efficiently to designated locations.

The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a 6:00 AM start time and 10-hour routes. Pay is $19 per hour plus a bonus, with average pay stated as $22 per hour with bonus, paid weekly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of box truck or similar driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screening, background check, and DOT physical.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, loading, and working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks on assigned local routes.
• Collect donations from bins and clean and maintain donation sites.
• Load and transport donated materials to designated locations.
• Follow safety procedures and driving regulations.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Communicate route, site, or safety concerns promptly.
• Complete daily routes accurately and on time.
