About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Box Truck Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a box truck, F-250 Gooseneck Hauler, F-350 with Flatbed Hauler, warehouse equipment, handling inventory, and making local deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service and accuracy.
Requirements
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Previous experience driving a box truck, F-250 Gooseneck Hauler, F-350 with Flatbed Hauler
- Certified or experienced operating: Forklift, Reach Truck, Electric Pallet Jack
- Experience using RF scanners in a warehouse environment
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Relevant Warehouse experience within the past 5 years
- Must be computer literate and able to easily learn ERP systems
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse and distribution experience
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Experience in Manufacturing Industry preferred
Responsibilities
- Daily on-site attendance
- Urgency in daily tasks and deliveries
- Operate a box truck safely and efficiently with a valid Class C Driver’s License
- Load, unload, and transport products to internal customer and company location(s)
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks
- Use RF scanners for order transfers, and inventory tracking
- Assist with minor inventory control and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy before and after inventory transporting
- Prepare and verify shipments and delivery paperwork included
- Ability to accurately keep up with daily inventory transfer logs
- Inspect vehicles and equipment daily to ensure safe operation
- Maintain clean and organized vehicles and delivery areas
- Follow company safety procedures and DOT regulations
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries and warehouse interactions
