About The Position

Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. is hiring a part-time Box Truck Driver to deliver baby cribs and related materials to agencies throughout Ohio. Routes primarily serve Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, and Cleveland, with occasional travel to other Ohio locations as needed. No CDL is required. The role involves operating a box truck equipped with a lift gate and completing deliveries safely and professionally.

The schedule is 4 to 8 trips per month, with each trip lasting approximately 4 to 8 hours. Trips take place Tuesday through Thursday, with hours varying between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The listed pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour. The position requires flexibility to accommodate business workload needs.

Requirements

• Meet background requirements and pass a drug screening.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Be physically able to lift, move, and unload items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Be flexible with working hours to accommodate business workload needs.
• Be able to operate packing machine(s) independently and with minimal to no supervision.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
• Meet quality control and production standards.
• Remain focused during repetitive tasks.
• Provide quality customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Previous box truck experience.
• Experience operating a lift gate.
• Experience making deliveries to multiple locations on a single route.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck equipped with a lift gate.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload baby cribs and related materials.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure cargo is transported safely and arrives in good condition.
• Follow established delivery schedules and routes.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain required signatures.
• Communicate professionally with agency staff and the organization.
• Promptly report vehicle maintenance concerns, accidents, or delivery issues.
• Comply with traffic laws, safety requirements, and company policies.
• Perform other assigned duties.
