About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Box Truck Driver to serve our supply chain organization department in a safe and timely manner. Route driving delivery cannabis products to our retail locations and third-party retailers that carry our products. Cannabis Industry experience is a plus! The pay rate for this role is from $20.00 to $23.00/hour. Must be over 21 years of age. Valid California driver’s license with 0 points, no accidents in 3 years. Clean driving record. Available for on-site operations work Monday-Friday. Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities- not hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Ability to drive heavy duty vehicles and cargo van
Understanding of all truck driving laws will need to be followed (E.g., weight stations, speed, paperwork recording, etc.)
Proven working experience as a delivery driver in any industry
Valid California driver’s license with 0 points, no accidents in 3 years.
Clean driving record
Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer.
Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time.
Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, hot or cool.
Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

Nice To Haves

Cannabis Industry experience is a plus!
Trucking school diploma or certifications preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Will be driving all heavy-duty vehicle types.
Pick-up, load, and transport finished products directly to the customer
Follow routes and time schedules
Package product and operate your delivery vehicle
Receive feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
Collect payments, handle cash and change
Complete logs and reports
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
Comply with driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
Assist with store delivery and pick up, loading and unloading, removing dunnage and pallets
Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
Collect and verify delivery instructions
Report defects, accidents, or violations
Performs work under direct supervision.
Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Diligent, Punctual and Ready to work!
Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by supervisor.
