About The Position

The Stadium Swim Box Office Cashier is responsible for processing ticketing and cashiering transactions for Stadium Swim. This role involves handling various payment methods, managing pre-purchased ticket and retail transactions, and maintaining the work area. The cashier will also be responsible for following emergency procedures, providing surveillance of the pool area, assisting guests with requests, and understanding resort features and services. Additionally, the position requires attending training, assisting peers, and promoting events.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • A minimum of 1-2 years work experience in a high volume beverage, day club or pool setting
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Ability to perform basic mathematics, accurately and consistently balance a cash drawer in accordance with company policy
  • Must be able to initiate and maintain an upbeat and relaxed environment on a consistent basis
  • Ability to work within a team environment and maintain a positive “whatever it takes” attitude
  • Must be able to work all shifts and days including opening and closing shifts
  • Must possess basic knowledge of the Las Vegas area and attractions

Responsibilities

  • Handles cash, credit card and complimentary transactions at the point of sales system
  • Processing of pre-purchased ticket transactions
  • Processing of retail transactions
  • Responsible for daily setup and breakdown of work area
  • Responsible for following all designated emergency procedures and understand duties in the event of an emergency
  • Provide constant visual surveillance of pool and surrounding area identifying any safety or emergency
  • Assists guests with requests, offering appropriate alternatives and seeking assistance when necessary
  • Understands and well versed in the resort features and services including all outlets, hours of operation, activities and events available to guests
  • Attend required training
  • Looks for opportunities to assist peers, guests, other departments or leaders
  • Willingness to participate in promotional campaigns & promote upcoming events via social platforms
