About The Position

The Bouquet Restaurant Busser maintains the dining area by clearing glasses and cleaning common areas quickly and efficiently while providing exceptional guest service. The role supports servers and hosts, keeps tables and dining areas ready for incoming guests, and completes assigned cleaning and service tasks before the end of each shift. Compensation is $16.90 per hour plus tips. Hours and days vary according to hotel needs, with morning or evening shifts; availability on weekends and holidays is required.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Food Handlers Card.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Responsible Beverage Service Card.
Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must have excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Must work well under pressure and complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
Must be able to lift and carry a tray weighing up to 50 pounds through a busy dining area.
Must be able to stand for long periods.
Must be able to work up to 8 hours per shift.
Must treat associates and guests respectfully and demonstrate integrity, attention to detail, courtesy, and a commitment to improvement.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and respond to requests quickly, courteously, and in a friendly manner.
Bring water to tables promptly and replenish drinks before guests need to request refills.
Assist servers with food delivery, ensuring food is served at the proper temperature and quality.
Pre-bus tables between courses by removing or adding necessary tableware.
Clear tables after guests depart and clean tables, chairs, and floors for the next guests.
Notify the host or hostess and food server when a table is ready.
Empty linen bags, take out trash, organize the dish area, polish glassware, and complete other assigned duties.
Complete all duties before the end of the shift.
Maintain focus throughout the shift and use troubleshooting and prioritization skills.
Follow company standards and environmental standards, help ensure the safety of guests and associates, and treat associates and guests respectfully.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
