About The Position

The BOSS (Buy Online Ship from Store) Fulfillment Outfitter supports customers’ shopping experience by fulfilling orders using inventory across retail locations. The role requires familiarity with products sold and involves receiving, inspecting, sorting, picking, packing, and loading merchandise for shipment to direct customers and retail stores while maintaining product quality and presentation. This position performs a range of back-room functions and may focus primarily on one area while being able to move among functions as needed. Duties also include assisting customers on the sales floor during store hours, communicating fulfillment issues and supply needs, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and attending required training. Work is performed under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment.

Requirements

High school diploma.
0–2 years of experience.
Ability to follow order processing through proper closure in the BOSS system.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
Ability to read label descriptions and stock merchandise by UPC codes.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Able to operate receiving equipment.
Able to constantly stand and/or walk during a shift and repeat motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Able to occasionally use ladders, stairs, or ramps; communicate to exchange information; operate machinery or power tools; work in confined spaces, low or high temperatures, outdoor elements, or noisy environments.
Able to constantly move and lift objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more using a team lift as needed.

Responsibilities

Receive and inspect merchandise, fill orders, and sort and pack merchandise in appropriate packaging for shipment.
Sort merchandise into order groupings and use proper containers, cartons, or packaging.
Apply designated labels and visually inspect products for quality and presentation.
Fill retail and direct customer orders by inspecting merchandise and matching it to orders.
Pull merchandise from designated stock locations and place it in proper containers.
Move merchandise among warehouse locations using authorized material-handling equipment or manually load and unload trailers.
Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness and follow safe-work procedures.
Attend mandatory training and in-services, including orientation, safety, and job-skills training.
Assist customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions while working on the sales floor.
Communicate issues or needs affecting job execution, including short picks, out-of-stocks, on-hand counts, and supplies.
Follow through on order processing, including properly closing orders in the BOSS system.
Perform other duties as assigned.
