About The Position

TEAM Group is seeking Paint Booth Cleaners/Laborers for their GM Lansing Grand River location. This role involves providing industrial cleaning services within facility paint booths, including cleaning walls, floors, grates, conveyor lines, machinery, robotics, and equipment. The job requires working occasionally in confined spaces and from heights, performing heavy lifting, and wearing appropriate PPE. The position also involves repetitive tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, prolonged standing, and walking, as well as using blasting equipment. Adherence to all safety policies and instructions is crucial. The company emphasizes teamwork, safety, and building lasting relationships with employees and clients.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license;
Must be able to perform all functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs;
Must be able to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks (bending/lifting);
Must be available on weekends and for overtime as required;
Ability to work independently and as an effective team member;
Ability to commute to the GM Lansing Delta Township site location for work.

Previous experience working in an industrial environment is an asset;

Responsibilities

Provide services in industrial cleaning within the facility paint booths to clean walls, floors, grates, conveyor lines, machinery, robotics, and equipment (training provided);
Work occasionally in confined spaces and from heights (ladder - 10 ft.) to provide cleaning services;
Perform heavy lifting up to 50lbs for moving supplies, materials, and equipment;
Wear proper PPE including retrieval harnesses, steel toe footwear, safety glasses, protective gloves, etc.;
Perform repetitive tasks including lifting heavy objects, bending, prolonged standing, prolonged walking, and using blasting equipment;
Follow all instructions and all safety policies, practices, and protocols;
Other duties as assigned.
