As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and highly organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of our company. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who values accuracy, confidentiality, structure, and collaboration while working in a fast-paced and mission-driven environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping and reconciliations
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets
  • Comfortable handling confidential financial information
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to communicate clearly in person, by phone, and electronically

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in multi-location or hospitality businesses is a plus
  • Experience with payroll systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate general ledger records
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
  • Prepare and record journal entries
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation
  • Support payroll-related recordkeeping and reporting
  • Monitor and track business expenses and vendor payments
  • Assist leadership with financial reporting and operational analysis
  • Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve accounting issues
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information
  • Ensure accounting systems and records remain organized and up to date
  • Assist with process improvements and financial organization
  • Collaborate with leadership to support operational needs
  • Support compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
