About The Position

We are looking for a part-time bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records and support our accounting operations. This role involves recording daily transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and assisting with payroll and tax preparation under the guidance of management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively for part-time hours.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with management and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular basis.
  • Maintain accurate ledgers for accounts and expenses.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Assist with payroll processing and related documentation.
  • Support tax preparation efforts and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor cash flow and provide alerts on discrepancies or financial issues.
  • Collaborate with management to streamline accounting procedures and improve financial tracking.
