Bookkeeping for subsidiary companies: Input and tracking financial activities, including sales, purchases and payments, into the company's general ledger or quickbooks software. Manage invoices to clients (accounts receivable) and pay bills to vendors (accounts payable), ensure timely payments and manage client balances. Complete bank reconciliations by comparing bank statements with company records to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring the accuracy of financial accounts. Create and maintain financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements as required. into their financial performance. Daily Cash Reconciliations Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy with internal accounting ledger. Investigate discrepancies, identify their root causes, and take corrective actions to reconcile accounts Vendor Onboarding & 1099s Obtain and verify contractor W-9 forms to gather tax information for all new vendors. Initiate and manage the process of enrolling new vendors for ACH payments by verifying bank information (account number, routing number, bank name) with the appropriate forms and secure methods to prevent fraud Establish and maintain accurate 1099 vendor files. Ensure the accurate and timely distribution of 1099 forms to contractors by the IRS deadline. General Accounting 1-2 years of accounting experience Provide support and documentation for internal and external audits. Assist with the annual filings of all business entities, insurance renewals and online tax filings. Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual closing procedures. Assist with account reconciliations as required. Assets the Finance Team with projects when required

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of accounting experience
  • Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy is crucial for meticulous examination of financial records
  • This role requires attention to detail, and a good understanding of bank account reconciliation to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Proficiency with Excel
