About The Position

The Bonds Account Executive will act as the producer in developing and maintaining favorable relationships with new and existing clients in order to increase revenue and ensure that organizational services consistently meet client needs. Also assists producer(s) with sales goals and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent written and Verbal communication skills and enjoy working with people in a high-volume customer service environment.
  • Ability to be highly organized, yet flexible in dealing with shifting priorities, fluctuating workloads, and evolving procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex industry documents such as balance sheets, income statements, tax returns, and procedures/policy manuals, and apply within prescribed routines and practices.
  • Ability to thoroughly analyze product information, and make timely and practical recommendations to managers, service personnel, and clients.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision, while maintaining positive staff relationships within a teamwork environment.
  • Must demonstrate competence in computer and office equipment operations.
  • Must be able to secure and maintain insurance licensure, at company expense.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred in banking, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 0-3 Years of experience in the insurance industry or a related field is desired.
  • Experience with MS Office products (Word and Excel) and the Internet are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed surveys to identify customer survey needs.
  • Prepare sales proposals and marketing information.
  • Work with service support staff to complete carrier submissions and to answer client questions about survey applications and likelihood of acceptance.
  • Maintain extensive contact in person, by phone and mail (electronic/postal), with clients, prospects, service line personnel, and division managers to facilitate appropriate and comprehensive product customer service.
  • Monitor expiration listings and participate in renewal collaboration with service personnel, follow-up on outstanding or pending business matters.
  • Attend sales meetings as required.
  • Keep informed through vigilant review and appraisal of industry development and competitive markets, participates in carrier and agency training meetings and sessions, and maintains appropriate licensure.
  • Perform special projects at producer’s request.
