About The Position

Paramount is on a mission to entertain the planet and is seeking a passionate Account Executive to join their CBS Texas - KTVT/KTXA team. This is a growth role for a broadcast-experienced seller who can maximize opportunities and excel in a multi-screen, multi-market environment. The Account Executive will sell across the full CBS O&O footprint, including multi-market broadcast deals, and also sell Paramount+ and Pluto TV streaming inventory, offering clients an end-to-end screen solution. The role requires bringing in new business, building client relationships, and achieving results.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of local broadcast experience, multi-platform, or local media advertising sales with a verifiable track record of hitting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, pitch, and close business.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to build lasting client partnerships.
  • Experience working with both advertising agencies and direct clients.
  • Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume, fast-paced book of business with professionalism and precision.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling streaming, digital, or OTT inventory in addition to linear television.
  • Familiarity with Paramount+, Pluto TV, or FAST/AVOD platform sales.
  • Experience selling multi-market or national broadcast packages.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency with WideOrbit, Strata, Salesforce, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect relentlessly across local, regional, and national categories, focusing on new-to-station and non-traditional revenue.
  • Drive revenue across CBS O&O broadcast, Paramount+, and Pluto TV in integrated pitches.
  • Leverage the full 17-market CBS O&O footprint to offer advertisers a scaled broadcast solution.
  • Develop direct client and agency relationships from the ground up, owning the pipeline and outcomes.
  • Package custom solutions such as tentpole programs, sports integrations, streaming packages, and sponsorships tailored to client business objectives.
  • Manage quarterly and annual account plans, forecast accurately, and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
  • Stay informed about marketplace trends, category dynamics, and the evolving linear and streaming landscape.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Marketing, Account Management, and Traffic to deliver seamless campaigns.
  • Represent KTVT-TV at client meetings, presentations, and station events.
