About The Position

The BOLT (Building Opportunities & Learning Together) Intern Program is Kinder Morgan’s elite summer internship program. This program offers the opportunity to spend your summer gaining hands-on experience in the energy industry while enhancing professional and interpersonal skills. Interns will participate in meaningful projects that support Kinder Morgan's vision of delivering energy to improve lives and create a better world.

Requirements

• Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Supply Chain student
• Intermediate level knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Excel pivot tables and data analysis is valuable in this role.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with an ERP system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Procurement team members and learn about the day-to-day purchasing process.
• Work with internal customers and vendors to resolve issues.
• Perform analysis such as commodity forecasting, historical spend, and other KPIs.
• Work on cleaning up ERP system data, such as closing out purchase orders.
