About The Position

The BOLT (Building Opportunities & Learning Together) Intern Program is Kinder Morgan’s elite summer internship program. This program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the energy industry while enhancing their professional and interpersonal skills. Interns participate in meaningful projects that support Kinder Morgan's vision of delivering energy to improve lives and create a better world.

Requirements

• Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Supply Chain student Intermediate level.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Excel pivot tables and data analysis is valuable in this role.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Fleet team members to gain practical insight into fleet operations and management.
• Learn how fleet management supports Kinder Morgan's operations and contributes to overall business performance.
• Analyze key fleet metrics and KPIs related to safety, utilization, maintenance, and operating costs.
• Work with Fleet personnel to interpret data and identify opportunities to improve fleet safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Assist with day-to-day fleet management activities and support ongoing operational initiatives.
• Gain exposure to fleet systems, reporting tools, and business processes.
• Participate in projects focused on operational improvement, compliance, and asset performance.
