About The Position
The Boiler Technician operates and maintains boilers in multiple buildings and completes routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of equipment and systems. The role requires a thorough understanding of industrial boiler systems, HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and/or commercial kitchen equipment, and a commitment to safety and operation within a stringent safety program. Duties must be performed satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical trades or building maintenance, preferably on commercial properties.
- Certification in one or more of the following fields: boilers/heating systems, mechanical HVAC, refrigeration, or automated building controls.
- Thorough understanding of industrial boiler systems, HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and/or commercial kitchen equipment.
- Ability to understand O&M manuals, diagrams, and troubleshooting guidelines for complicated systems.
- Proficiency in building codes and industry-standard best practices.
- Commitment to safety and operating within a stringent safety program.
