Boiler Operator- Per Diem (Pool)
About The Position
As a Boiler Operator you will operate boiler and chiller plant systems and operating machinery according to specified parameters. You will perform routine tests on boiler water and chill water systems and treats those systems chemically to maintain specific standards. You will also perform preventative maintenance and repair maintenance on boiler and chiller plant machinery. Respond to boiler and chiller plant emergencies according to operating instructions. Conduct cleaning of plant spaces, equipment, and piping. Report to Chief Boiler Operator. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School graduate
- Completion of an approved course in high pressure steam boiler operations.
- Current Fireman License with the City of Wilmington
