About The Position
Under indirect supervision of the Lead Utility Plant Engineer, the Boiler Operator is responsible for monitoring, operating, trouble-shooting, and performing all preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment associated with high-pressure steam boilers. This role ensures the uninterrupted, efficient, safe, and economical operation of all equipment. The position also involves performing other related work as assigned and demonstrating behaviors reflective of the mission and PRIIDE core values of UC Health, as well as competencies specific to successful job performance.
