About The Position
Faulkner Collision is hiring a motivated collision professional to join its team in Philadelphia. The role involves inspecting vehicles, identifying repair needs and parts, and adjusting, replacing, and repairing vehicle equipment and components. Candidates may bring relevant collision-repair experience or be willing to learn and train. Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Certifications listed in the posting or equivalent experience and eagerness to improve.
Nice To Haves
- Welding, suspension, or framework experience, or willingness to learn and train.
- Preferred ASE certifications in Damage Analysis and Estimating, Mechanical and Electrical Components, Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair, and State Vehicle Inspector.
Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve parts required for repairs; review repair orders, work orders, and Body Shop Manager’s estimate notes; follow warranty guidelines; and notify a supervisor of repair add-ons.
- Adjust, replace, and repair vehicle equipment, including sheet metal, fiberglass and panel repairs, fabrication and structural welding, body-component installation and alignment, and electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Teardown and inspect vehicles for additional or hidden repairs.
