About The Position

Fred Martin Collision Center is seeking a high-level Collision Body Technician for its busy shop in the Greater Akron area. The technician will assess and repair vehicle damage across all makes and models, working from repair estimates and communicating supplements when necessary. Repairs must meet OEM, I-CAR, and AllData standards. The role includes structural and frame work, welding, plastic repair, and full body work. The shop offers consistent workflow, a flat-rate pay structure, and opportunities for paid training and advancement.

Requirements

• Collision repair experience across all makes and models.
• Strong diagnostic ability; must be more than a parts changer.
• Ability to produce in a flat-rate environment.
• Team-oriented approach and ability to keep work moving efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform full vehicle teardown and accurate damage assessments.
• Read and work directly from repair estimates, communicating supplements when needed.
• Perform repairs to OEM, I-CAR, and AllData standards.
• Perform frame repair or replacement, welding, and structural work.
• Perform plastic repair and full body work across all makes and models.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and work efficiently.
