About The Position

Fred Martin Collision Center is seeking a high-level Collision Body Technician for its busy shop in the Greater Akron area. The technician will assess collision damage, work from repair estimates, communicate supplement needs, and perform repairs to OEM, I-CAR, and AllData standards. The role includes structural and frame work, welding, plastic repair, and full body work across all makes and models. The shop emphasizes consistent workflow, efficiency, and productivity in a flat-rate environment.

Requirements

• Collision repair experience across all makes and models.
• Strong diagnostic ability.
• Ability to produce in a flat-rate environment.
• Team-oriented approach and ability to keep work moving efficiently.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform full vehicle teardown and accurately assess damage.
• Read and work directly from repair estimates and communicate supplements when needed.
• Perform repairs to OEM, I-CAR, and AllData standards.
• Perform frame repair or replacement, welding, and structural work.
• Perform plastic repairs and full body work across all makes and models.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and work efficiently.
