Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Welding, suspension, and framework experience, or willingness to learn and train.
ASE certifications in Damage Analysis and Estimating, Mechanical and Electrical Components, Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair, and State Vehicle Inspector are preferred; equivalent experience and eagerness to improve are also accepted.

Responsibilities

Identify and resolve parts required for repairs; review repair orders, work orders, and Body Shop Manager’s estimate notes; follow warranty guidelines; and notify a supervisor of repair add-ons.
Adjust, replace, and repair equipment, including sheet metal, fiberglass and panel repairs, fabrication and structural welding, installation and alignment of body components, and electrical and mechanical repairs.
Teardown and inspect vehicles for additional or hidden repairs.
