About The Position

The Body Shop Parts Warehouse & Receiver Associate assists the parts manager with daily inventory and warehouse operations. The role involves receiving and inspecting parts, organizing and securing the parts area, pulling parts and invoices for repair jobs, and supporting inventory counts. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from an unspecified morning start time until 6 p.m. The work environment may be dusty and involve exposure to chemical compounds and paint. The position requires physical activity, including lifting up to 70 pounds and stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, and handling parts and equipment. Requirements

Basic computer skills and familiarity with office machines such as a copier, credit card machine, and telephone.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Valid Texas driver's license.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must pass a drug test.
Self-disciplined and motivated to exceed the minimum standard.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Ability to stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and handle parts and equipment.
Ability to work in an environment that is dusty and where chemical compounds and paint are used.

Nice To Haves

Automotive experience is a plus, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

Assist the parts manager in maintaining inventory daily.
Return unused outside-purchase parts to vendors.
Assist with preparation for the annual parts inventory.
Pull parts from pick tickets and deliver them to technicians.
Pull parts invoices and stage them for pending repair jobs.
Conduct weekly bin counts.
Inspect received parts and note damaged or incorrect parts on the parts invoice.
Keep the parts warehouse secure.
Keep the parts area clean.
