About The Position

Transteck, Inc. is hiring an experienced Body Shop Parts Counter for its Freightliner of Harrisburg body shop. The role supports body shop repair orders by coordinating with estimators and technicians to procure parts, sourcing parts for timely fulfillment, maintaining inventory, and serving customers. The position also involves meeting sales and gross profit goals, following dealership ordering procedures, processing core and warranty items, and completing ongoing OEM training. Applicants must pass a background and criminal records check, physical exam, and drug screen.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a background and criminal records check, physical exam, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of sales experience preferred.
• Experience as a Body Shop Parts Counter.

Responsibilities

• Provide written quotes to customers and estimators when needed.
• Work with estimators and technicians to procure parts needed for body shop repair orders.
• Source parts as needed for speedy fulfillment.
• Maintain local parts inventory.
• Meet sales and gross profit margin goals.
• Order parts according to dealership procedures.
• Maintain special order parts for the service department.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Complete ongoing OEM training to stay current with parts changes.
• Process core and warranty items according to company guidelines.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
