Requirements

Previous experience as an auto body estimator or in a related automotive repair position.
Knowledge of auto body repair procedures and industry standards.
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical information to guests and insurance companies.
Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Mitchell, CCC One) and Microsoft Office.
Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Inspect damaged vehicles to assess repair needs and provide accurate, detailed estimates for repair costs.
Work closely with guests to explain the repair process and provide clear and transparent pricing.
Collaborate with the Body Shop team, including technicians and management, to ensure timely and high-quality repairs.
Communicate with insurance adjusters to ensure all damage is documented and repairs are covered.
Ensure all estimates comply with company policies and industry standards.
Review repair orders, tracking and verifying that estimates and work orders align with the approved repairs.
Keep accurate records of estimates, vehicle repairs, and communication with insurance companies.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns, updating guests on progress, and ensuring a smooth repair process.
