About The Position

The Motor Company is a locally owned Ford dealership in Marinette, Wisconsin, and we're looking for an organized, customer-focused professional to join our team as a Body Shop Estimator. This is an outstanding opportunity to take on a key leadership role in our collision center. Our current estimator has been promoted within the company and will provide hands-on training to ensure a successful transition for the right candidate.

Requirements

Previous automotive experience and especially collision repair or body shop experience is strongly preferred, however we will train the right candidate
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Comfortable working with computers and learning dealership management and estimating software
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operation of the body shop
Write accurate repair estimates using industry estimating software
Work directly with insurance companies throughout the estimate and repair process
Manage insurance approvals and payment processing
Schedule repairs and coordinate shop workflow
Communicate with customers to provide updates and ensure an exceptional experience
Order and track parts as needed
Coordinate with technicians to keep repairs moving efficiently
Maintain quality standards and ensure repairs are completed on time
Assist with administrative duties and documentation
Help identify opportunities to improve shop efficiency and customer satisfaction
