About The Position

Johnson Motor Sales is seeking a full-time Body Shop Assistant to help body shop technicians with the department’s daily work. The role supports vehicle repairs and delivery, shop organization, and parts management. It provides an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in a full-service body shop environment.

Requirements

• Be reliable and hardworking, with the ability to take direction.
• Be a self-starter who is driven to complete tasks to the best of their ability.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Consent to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Install accessories on customer vehicles.
• Organize and clean the shop.
• Support body shop technicians as needed.
• Clean vehicles for delivery after repairs are completed.
• Maintain and organize the parts department.
• Set up parts returns and organize inventory.
• Pick up parts.
• Prewash cars before repairs begin.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on department needs.
